Here is some information how to reach the island of Korcula and how to find the apartments Niksa:
If you will sail with a ferry from Split
(http://www..jadrolinija.hr) or Drvenik
(http://www.korcula.net/grad/pitanja/q13.htm) it is adviceable to arrive to the line in front of a ferry at least
2 hours before sailing time in order to avoid the
crowd.
The ferry from Orebic on the peninsula Peljesac
sail every one hour
(http://www.korcula.net/grad/pitanja/q14.htm).
If you will arrive from Korcula, drive along the main
road to place Smokvica. There is only one cross in
the centre of the place where you should turn left to
Brna. On the first cross in Brna turn right to Prizba.
There is a several roads on that cross you should
choose first on the right side. You will pass near
small bay called Istruga, follow the road and after
5-7 minutes you will reach the apartments village
Priscapac. The apartments Niksa is 2 kilometres from there. Follow
the road and after about 2 kilometres you will reach
one small cross. There is one shop there on the right
side. Stop there and go back for 100 meters and try to recognize the house by the image which is on the right column of this page.
If you will come from Vela Luka,
drive along the main road to Blato. In front of Blato you will reach one
cross where you should turn right and pass through Blato's center under the
alley of trees. Follow that alley (there is one small detour in the centre
of Blato where you should turn right, than left, than after 100 meters turn
left and than right, back to the alley of trees) and when you leave it for
about 200 meters you should turn right to Prizba. Follow the main road
(many curves) and first you will reach one bay which is called Grscica.
Don't turn anywhere but follow the main road 2 kilometres more. You will
pass near one hotel named Alfir which is closed and 50 meters from there
you will see one small cross where you should follow the main road (left)
and 200 meters from there you will reach one small shop on the left side. Continue fro 100 meters and try to recognize Niksa's house by the image which is on the right column of this page.
